Founded in 1996, Logic Design Inc. (LDI) is a privately-held corporation headquartered in Redmond, WA with offices in Toronto, Canada, and Melbourne, Australia. LDI offers a suite of products ranging from simulation software to textbooks to computer-based training, and course management software. In addition to its best-selling simulation products, such as CircuitLogix, RoboLogix and PLCLogix, the company also has a strong focus on educational products to support the use of simulation. These products are used worldwide by thousands of students, educators, professional design engineers, and hobbyists. The company sells its products directly in the US, Australia, and Canada and through a worldwide network of distributors.
The company launched its flagship product "Electronics Technician" elearning Package (ELP) in 1997. This product went on to win several international awards and is recognized around the world as the standard for electronics education and certification at the Technician level. Other multimedia learning packages include Electro-Mechanics, Programmable Logic Controllers, Industrial Robotics, and Electric Vehicles which all utilize integrated simulation software with multimedia course content.
Simulation is the cornerstone of all Logic Design products and is available fully-integrated with course material, or as powerful stand-alone simulation tools to support a wide range of curriculum, learning material and design applications. CircuitLogix Pro is intended to bridge the gap between theoretical and practical using state-of-the-art EDA simulation and design software. Other simulation software products include PLCLogix 500 and PLCLogix 5000 for PLC simulation, 3DLab for 3D simulation, and RoboLogix for robotics simulation.
Logic Design Inc. is a world-leader in on-line testing and assessment and processes over 100,000 exams per year with near-perfect reliability and accuracy (99.9978%). Universities, Colleges, High Schools, and corporate clients all use LDI's secure on-line exam system, ExamGuard, for performing testing and grading of their students.
